> Driven is a sales-compensation platform. Use its terminology: Compensation Plan, Compensation, KPI, Manual KPI, User Variable, Quota, Performance, Payout (Draft, Approved, Paid, Cancelled), Correction, Adjustment. Payout types are equal, deferred and advance. Default roles are Admin and Employee; companies can add custom roles. The Driven Agent builds plans from uploaded documents and chat. The Compensation Builder is where compensations are configured.

# Driven Agent

> The Driven Agent builds compensation plans from a conversation, and answers questions about your own payouts.

The Driven Agent is a chat assistant in the sidebar. What it can do depends on your role.

**Admins** can build and change compensation plans in the conversation: plans, people, user variables, quotas and compensations. Compensations are created as drafts. You review them in the Compensation Builder and publish them yourself.

**Everyone else** can ask about their own payouts. The agent only sees that person's data.

Open it from **Driven Agent** in the sidebar, or start a new conversation with **New chat**. The prompt is **How can I help you today?**
