> ## Agent Instructions
> Driven is a sales-compensation platform. Use its terminology: Compensation Plan, Compensation, KPI, Manual KPI, User Variable, Quota, Performance, Payout (Draft, Approved, Paid, Cancelled), Correction, Adjustment. Payout types are equal, deferred and advance. Default roles are Admin and Employee; companies can add custom roles. The Driven Agent builds plans from uploaded documents and chat. The Compensation Builder is where compensations are configured.

# Integrations

> Connect HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive so Driven can sync deals, and connect Claude to read plans and payouts.

Driven calculates commission from the deals in your CRM. Connect one CRM from **Integrations** in the sidebar. Only admins can open that page. Each CRM has a card. A connected CRM shows **Connected**. The others show **Connect**. **Claude (MCP)** has **Set up instructions**.

Sync runs about once an hour. The first sync brings in history. Later syncs bring in what changed, including deals that were deleted in the CRM.

## What is synced

* Users, matched to people in Driven
* Pipelines and stages
* Deal properties, including custom fields
* Deals

A new CRM user who is not already in Driven is created as **Imported from CRM**, with the Employee role. Driven matches an existing person by their CRM identity first, then by email. A user who is inactive in the CRM becomes **Deactivated**. Invite the people who should sign in. See [Invite and enable users](https://docs.driven.work/users/invite-and-enable-users.md).

## Currency

Each deal keeps the currency it has in the CRM. Formulas run in the [plan's currency](https://docs.driven.work/compensation-builder.md).

When the deal currency and the plan currency differ, Driven converts the amount. It uses the exchange rate stored on the deal in your CRM when that rate converts into your company's reporting currency. Otherwise it uses a reference market rate from the date the deal counts.

The rate is read again on every sync until the payout is [locked](https://docs.driven.work/payouts/locking.md). Approving a payout freezes the rate it was calculated with.

## Connect, reconnect, disconnect

**1. Open Integrations**

Go to **Integrations**. Each CRM has a card.

**2. Connect**

Click **Connect** and sign in to the CRM. Grant the requested access. The card shows **Connected** when the sync can run.

**3. Reconnect if access is missing**

If the connection drops, or the CRM permissions are incomplete, the card shows **Disconnected** or a **Missing permissions** warning. Click **Reconnect** and grant access again.

**Disconnect** opens **Disconnect Integration**.

> This will stop syncing CRM data. Existing payouts and historical data will be preserved.

Disconnecting does not delete payouts, plans or the deals already synced. It stops new changes arriving.

Slack can be connected from the same page. Slack is used for notifications. It does not sync deals.
