> ## Agent Instructions
> Driven is a sales-compensation platform. Use its terminology: Compensation Plan, Compensation, KPI, Manual KPI, User Variable, Quota, Performance, Payout (Draft, Approved, Paid, Cancelled), Correction, Adjustment. Payout types are equal, deferred and advance. Default roles are Admin and Employee; companies can add custom roles. The Driven Agent builds plans from uploaded documents and chat. The Compensation Builder is where compensations are configured.

# HubSpot

> Connect HubSpot to sync users, pipelines, deal properties and deals into Driven about once an hour.

HubSpot is connected from **Integrations**. You need to be an admin. The shared steps, including what is synced and how currency is converted, are on [Integrations](https://docs.driven.work/integrations.md).

**1. Start the connection**

On the HubSpot card, click **Connect**.

**2. Choose the portal**

Sign in to HubSpot and pick the portal Driven should read. Grant the requested access.

**3. Wait for the first sync**

The card shows **Connected**. The first sync imports users, pipelines, stages, deal properties and deals. Later syncs run about once an hour and pick up changes.

Deal amount, deal currency and HubSpot's own exchange rate are part of the sync. Driven uses HubSpot's rate when it converts into your company's reporting currency, and a reference market rate otherwise.

If HubSpot later shows **Missing permissions**, someone removed access in HubSpot. Click **Reconnect** and grant it again. **Disconnect** stops the sync and keeps payouts and history.

You can open your payouts from inside HubSpot with the [Chrome extension](https://docs.driven.work/integrations/chrome-extension.md).
