You can hand the Driven Agent an existing plan document and describe what you want. It creates the plan in Driven. You stay in the chat the whole time.

Upload a document

In the chat box, click Attach files, or drop files onto the conversation. The accepted types are PDF, Excel, CSV, Word, Markdown, TXT and images (PNG, JPG and HEIC). Limits:
  • 10 MB per file
  • 5 files at a time
  • 30 MB in total
Excel files are read sheet by sheet. Word files are read as text. The agent keeps the extracted text with the message, so you can refer back to the document later in the same conversation.

Tell it what to build

Type a request in How can I help you today?. A useful prompt names the plan, who is on it, and how commission works. For example:
Create a 2026 account-executive plan in euros for the people in the attached spreadsheet. Monthly payouts. 8% of closed revenue up to quota, 12% above quota. Quotas are in the sheet, one column per quarter.
The agent may ask a short follow-up question before it continues, for example which CRM field is deal amount, or which quota belongs to which person. Answer in the chat.

What it creates

From that conversation, an admin can have the agent:
  • Create a compensation plan, including its name, currency, timezone and fiscal year start.
  • Add people to the plan, and set their user variables and quotas.
  • Create or update compensations: the KPI, filters, payout frequency, calculation method and formula.
  • Look up CRM fields such as deal stage, owner, amount and close date, and use them in the compensation.
Compensations are always created as drafts. The agent cannot publish them. The chat says so, and asks you to review the compensation in Plan Builder before you publish. Open it in the Compensation Builder, check the preview, and click Review & Publish when it is right.

The agent also checks its own work. If quotas are turned on but no quota values were set, it goes back to the document, fills them in, and tries again.

What needs you to confirm

Most changes are applied as soon as you ask. Two actions stop and wait:
  • Deleting a plan. The agent asks you to confirm. Type the plan name in Delete “plan name” permanently. This cannot be undone.
  • User variable changes that touch approved or paid payouts. A Review variable changes dialog opens. Click Apply corrections to record the difference, or cancel to leave the payouts as they were. See Corrections.

AI Mode inside the builder

Editors also have AI Mode next to Builder at the top of the Compensation Builder. The prompt is Describe your incentive. Use it to change the compensation you already have open. The agent’s suggestions land in the form. Nothing is published until you click Review & Publish.

Treat the first result as a draft to read, not a finished plan. Check the KPI filter, the formula and one person’s preview before you publish.
